Dylan

Hi Harriett:

We lost our Brando on Monday after 12 wonderful years. He was the best animal either of us have ever owned and being dog lovers, we have had so me great ones over the years. We made the decision to adopt Dylan when we realized that Brando would not be with us much longer and I am so thankful we did. He immediately became part of the family and adapted to the country living. He is an outstanding friend and companion and the only dog I have ever owned that was allowed in my bed. He warms my spot every night before I turn in and then promptly moves right in between us for the night. We have a dog door leading to a large fenced back yard which is surrounded by pastures with cattle, horses and coyotes in the nighttime. Dylan is very much the night owl and quietly goes in and out several times during the night to stand guard over him territory and howl at the coyotes. He is a couch potato by day and armed guard by night and we are crazy about him.

Wilbur

Hi Harriett:
Great News -- Wilbur is heartworm free! I cannot tell you how fortunate we feel to have him in our lives. He fits right in like he should have been part of the family all along. We love his go-with-the-flow attitude that makes it so he's just as content to snuggle with us on the couch as he is to play in the park! My neighbor even noticed and said, "He looks just as excited to leave the house as he is to get home." It's no surprise that everyone who meets him adores him as well. We are so grateful to you and the rest of the wonderful Ruffus Rescue group for rescuing him. Thank you so, so much!

Attached are a few pictures: one of him this past Christmas checking out the snow that was just starting to fall outside, and the other of him falling asleep after he propped himself up against Pete's leg -- the latter one always makes us laugh :)

Thanks again.

Coco

Hi Harriett:

Here is a photo of Coco with me in the snow. He has settled in nicely and getting along with our old dog. We are happy to have him a part of our family (except that he brings interesting things into the house from the yard!). Thanks,

Hello Harriett: I just wanted to send you a few photos of Layla. She is doing just wonderful, and has already made herself at home. Sophia and Manuel just love her so much. She is so good with them, and she is the most loving playmate. Thank you so much for picking us!!!!

Warm regards,

P.S. She is a little tired now, she played all day in the snow with us!!!!

Andy

Hi, Harriett:

I had forgotten to send a picture of Andy and our family, so I am sending the Christmas picture, with the extended family and cousins. All the boys in here are my sons, and as you can see, Andy is well loved. He is learning to bring me the paper in the morning, and loving our long morning walks. I am nuts about this dog and I cannot thank you enough for bringing him into our lives. I'm having trouble finding the pictures of him retreiving the paper, but when I find them, I will send to you! Thanks. Yvonne

Harold

Hi Harriett,

Hope you had a nice Christmas. Just wanted to let you know Harry is doing well, getting along fine now with our other Bullie, save the occasional chew toy wrestling match. I still cannot believe someone would let such a fine animal go. Anyway, here is a pic of both of them. Have a nice New Year and thank you for your noble efforts in rescuing these animals! Mike Riley
