Marley and her sister Splash (Carley) had a reunion yesterday in Alabama! Sisters together again! Lots of fun. They have a lot of the same traits as each other. Splash is more protective of his mother and Marley is a big baby! FYI, they had no idea they were sisters!
She is the Queen of our little roost. As you can see, she is putting on weight, her coat is beautiful, and she gets attention wherever she goes. We can't thank you enough for our Snuffles!
I’ve had Jade for one year this past Saturday. She’s doing GREAT. We are still going to agility classes. She’s having a hard time with the sounds in the building. I’m taking her this Saturday to a ‘run thru’ at another agility class. They hold their classes outside and for $10, I can try and run Jade on their outdoor equipment. So, we’ll see. She does GREAT in my backyard, but, she’s always a little scared when I take her to new places, so I’m not sure what to expect. But, no matter what, I love the girl. I’ve attached a couple of ‘family’ photo’s for your enjoyment. I took these to mark her one year w/ the family.

In October 2007, I was lucky enough to meet and adopt the best dog in the world, terrier mix Barney (formerly Trooper), from Ruffus Rescue. He had been abused and tried to escape under a fence, and his back was torn up and he had undergone multiple surgeries to fix it before I met him. I am happy to report that, four years later, he is healthy and active and only has a few minor scars from his previous life that don't even show when his hair is longer. He is a loyal, smart, and wonderful pet and made me a true believer in the amazing, giving work you do. I just wanted to write you and say thanks for everything. I am attaching a recent picture of Barney, surrounded by toys as usual. You are truly an angel!
I wanted to drop you a note and let you know how Bambi is doing and send a few pictures of her. She is quite a character. She settled into the family rather quickly and it didn't take her long to let her new brothers (also Beagles) know that she was the princess and would rule the roost around here. They play along and let her think she's the boss! Bambi loves toys more than anything (except food of course)! She thinks they all belong to her and doesn't like to share them, but will play a game of tug of war with Bailey on occasion. Her favorite now is the tennis ball. She will run and chase it as long as you will through it for her. Bambi is a very sweet girl that keeps us entertained. She is a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you so much for rescuing this sweet, lovable girl from the shelter and letting her become a part of our life.
