Hi Harriett:We lost our Brando on Monday after 12 wonderful years. He was the best animal either of us have ever owned and being dog lovers, we have had so me great ones over the years. We made the decision to adopt Dylan when we realized that Brando would not be with us much longer and I am so thankful we did. He immediately became part of the family and adapted to the country living. He is an outstanding friend and companion and the only dog I have ever owned that was allowed in my bed. He warms my spot every night before I turn in and then promptly moves right in between us for the night. We have a dog door leading to a large fenced back yard which is surrounded by pastures with cattle, horses and coyotes in the nighttime. Dylan is very much the night owl and quietly goes in and out several times during the night to stand guard over him territory and howl at the coyotes. He is a couch potato by day and armed guard by night and we are crazy about him.
