Hi Harriett: Great News -- Wilbur is heartworm free! I cannot tell you how fortunate we feel to have him in our lives. He fits right in like he should have been part of the family all along. We love his go-with-the-flow attitude that makes it so he's just as content to snuggle with us on the couch as he is to play in the park! My neighbor even noticed and said, "He looks just as excited to leave the house as he is to get home." It's no surprise that everyone who meets him adores him as well. We are so grateful to you and the rest of the wonderful Ruffus Rescue group for rescuing him. Thank you so, so much!
Attached are a few pictures: one of him this past Christmas checking out the snow that was just starting to fall outside, and the other of him falling asleep after he propped himself up against Pete's leg -- the latter one always makes us laugh :)
