Sandy

Hi Harriett,

We adopted Spice (Sandy is her new name) last Easter (we were from Dacula – I attached the picture you took when we adopted her).  In January of this year we were transferred with our jobs to Gainesville, FL.  Sandy was so good in the 5 hour car ride and she loves her new house because it has a fenced in yard and she can run like a crazy dog.  She also loves Boots, our cat, they play all the time and they are in cahoots together when it’s time for treats, if one doesn’t remind us, the other one does.  Oh and did I mention she is spoiled – as you can see from the picture of her laying on our bed - but she is loved very much.

Take care and keep up the great work of finding good homes for these sweet pets.

Gracie

Good Morning,

Gracie rules the house with an iron hand in a velvet glove, as all terriers do as I’ve come to find out since she took up residence under my roof, LOL. What a character but what a mama’s girl. When I’m home, a closed door between us at any moment breaks her heart, silly goose. She’s very happy; she loves walks, dingo bones, chasing bugs in the backyard, barking at passersby over the fence, playing with and scolding her brother dogs (she’s VERY good at that). But her specialty is lying around being extremely cute and cuddly. Here is a picture of her too for you to enjoy. Have a great day.

Kipper

Hi Harriett,

I hope this message finds you well. I just wanted to give you a quick update on Kipper, the Australian Shepherd/Border Collie/Golden mix I adopted from you 4 years ago. He is doing GREAT and just turned 8 years old this Friday, April 13. He is a beautiful boy and much loved family member. My mother especially adores him and looks forward always to seeing him when she visits. Just thought you should know that he is doing well and living it up in the same home with the same mom who’s completely devoted to him – me! I’ve attached a current birthday picture of him to enjoy as I’m sure you get so many of these notes it helps to put a furry face to the name. (4 years ago he was called “Nemo” and was turned in to a rural shelter and a certain death sentence, if not for you, by his so-called family for scratching one of their boys through his shirt.) So you can see anew how the work you do makes such a difference.

Best regards, Olivia

Harriett,

Attached is a photo of Marvin (Angel) and me. Sorry for the delay. He and I are doing great. Thanks for getting us together.

Ringo

Hi Harriett,

I thought you might enjoy these recent photos of Ringo. I can’t tell you how much we love this little dog! We recently discovered that he enjoys the water. As you can imagine, he is one of the most spoiled dogs in Georgia.

We hope all is well with you. I want to let you know how much we appreciate all that you do. Whenever you feel discouraged, please keep these photos in mind. Your rescue of dear Ringo has brought such joy to our lives.

Maybe we will see you sometime in the near future.

God Bless,

Mary Mroczkowski
